Studio Piet Boon is responsible for the interior design of De Centrale. The core of the design philosophy is respect for the heritage of the building, combined with a modern vision.

The height of the original two-story building gave room to create a void, making the best use of the square footage. As a result, almost all the dwellings feature three residential floors. The result is a harmonious combination of old and new, reflecting the changing dynamics of urban living.

The light color palette, with neutral tones, aims to create a sense of space throughout the building. The materials chosen are balanced with the building's industrial origins. Durable poured floors and concrete spans form a robust framework and emphasize the historic structure.

Each home has an optimal layout, a unique staircase design and various Piet Boon products such as the full bathroom that includes a bathroom cabinet, tiles and faucets. The flooring and window and door hardware are also Piet Boon products.

The two model homes feature Piet Boon kitchens, including high-end built-in appliances. A basic kitchen design is available for each home, which buyers can customize to their liking.
